Sequin bustier fabric is from here, and yes, it was worth the money and the wait!
Bustier was mad using a heavily modified McCall’s 4109 (my go to modern corset pattern for just about everything) out of 2 layers of black drill with metal boning throughout and bound with black cotton twill tape. It closed in the back with hooks and eyes as per the original.
Shorts were made using Butterick 8986 from 1959, using heavy black satin with the ribbon sewn on and cuffs and pockets attached..
